How-to prevent Windows 10 tracking on Windows 7 and 8

Thanks for the heads up Robert. My system had one of the updates on it. Uninstalled and changed my update settings to tell me before it downloads or installs anything. Getting a little bit sick of this constant spying. I liked windows 10 until I heard an update was going to let Microsoft scan your system and uninstall stuff if it wanted to. Formatted my system back to 8.1.

Seriously considering switching OS. Not just Microsoft either. There's too much Big Brother is watching bullshit in everything these days.

This is just BS. I don't have a Facebook account precisely for this reason, to avoid data mining, so why do I want the OS that I paid for doing it behind my back?

It's too bad there is no good way to run AM on Linux.
