Is it possible to use BitMapPlus textures on objects that animate like characters do rather than just objects that retain a rigid form?

Is it possible to make the texture stick to the surface as materials and decals do as the object changes shape?

If I understand the question correctly I'd say the only way to achieve that for deformed/animated meshes is via baking.

But this is a general restriction of material and not exclusive to BitmapPlus.

If I'm reading too much into this and you just want the bitmap texture to stick to shapes animated via bones then I'd say 'make sure you have 'Global axis' turned off.

But I can't imagine this latter one is your case.

Yeah, I tried it both way but I get a weird, not staying in place problem.

I'm not sure how you mean, but I've been using bitmap plus to texture stuff for ages and they've always animated and deformed as I expected them to.

Yup, I've seen people using it and it being fine.

Mine is on cloth. It mostly works but I'm wondering why it doesn't all work.

Baking it will be a suitable workaround, for now.

Can someone redirect me to a place where "bitmap plus" is explained?
