Try stretching out the timeline beginning where the animal hits the ball - squetch the ball and make it take just a little longer to leave the frame. I agree it is a little sudden, I tried a little stretching, but I'm not sure it shows much. Added one more actor.the_ball_02.mov I have an idea for another one different next.
