R1= Spiders front right foot

L1= Spiders front left foot

All this might look a bit confusing at first but really all the legs are doing exactly the same thing just at different times.

A legs complete cycle is to start all the way forward and planted on the ground then push back. Once it has reached the furthest it can possibly push back it lifts up and forward then comes down again at its start position fully forward and planted on the ground ready for another cycle.

You can see that in row R1 "front right leg" frame 0 that the spider’s front right leg is planted on the ground and is about to push backward. At frame 6 the leg is lifting of the ground reaching maximum hight at frame 9.

The spider’s front right second leg R2 is doing the exact opposite; It starts from the back then moves up and forward, plants its self on the ground at frame 6 then pushes back all the way to frame 11. BTW: if you do your walk cycle over 11 frames it'll walk a bit too fast ;-)
