Corporal Ray Atwater

Ray Atwater always wanted to be a doctor, but the competition to get just an education was intense, let alone the difficulty of establishing a practice. Combine this with a solid but unexceptional intelligence and it’s easy to excuse his frustration. A pacifist by nature, never the less he chose to join the military and at least get training as a medical assistant and lab technician. This is where Atwater’s luck triumphed: it turns out the regiment and pace of a medic in combat fit his biorhythms exactly. So much so that his personal life has taken a back seat during the years of his service.

Atwater is in his mid 20s, and is very personable. He is a highly competent worker, has a great bedside manner, and an ability to put people at ease before he sticks needles into them. He is highly intelligent, and polite and generous.
