This is a paid position for a developer needed to code basic web based utilities
The position could expand to part time, full time or seasonal work after July 2012 timeframe.

Minimum pay: (the value of $79 subscription to A:M)
You will be subscribed to A:M for the duration of this project.
The subscription may be renewed based on your work for another year with no additional obligation from you.

Maximum pay: Although the primary goal is to develop free tools for the community, the products you create could generate revenue both inside and outside the A:M Community. Details of any marketing and distribution will be worked out on a case by case basic with you.

The project will focus on areas you demonstrate as strength in coding.
Skills Required: Expert Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript and image formatting and manipulation.
Recommended: Knowledge of PHP, java, cloud computing
The ability to use command line tools and ability to code simple utilities is a definite plus.

Only one assistant is needed at this time and for the foreseeable future.

The Assistant position is still open but I think releasing too much information at everything may spoil the fun at release.
So, some of the projects in the works are now going to go into proprietary mode where they can be polished and perfected.
As such I am looking for a brand newbie that is interested in developing tools for A:M that no thinks is possible.
I will make it worth your while, I promise.

As a tantalizing tidbit:

The 'Make Dragon' button was said to be impossible. Newbies were ridiculed for even wanting such a thing.
Hehehehehehehehehee! Project 32 will make that silly button not even worth clicking.

As intriguing as this sounds, I only know how to modify CSS and am quite good at image manipulation. But that's it. And there would be the whole time thing, I have the sense this is a large scale thingymabobber. But definitely interested to see what these new releases are to be when they become public

I should have posted a message stating someone has expressed interest in the job.
One person is signing on right now and after I get settled in to wherever I plan to be for the next few years, I'll look at the prospects of taking on additional assistants. The bottom line here is that I want to make the time worth while to anyone signing on so I need to stick with just one assistant in the short term. (In a way one could even say that I'm the assistant in this venture)

If I were to team with you I can't help but think I'd want to focus on identifying tools required for the Virtual Studio. That may be something we can explore outside this current 'offline' focus.

When I get the final word on this assistant position being officially filled I'll change the title of this topic.
