Hi all,

I am just now getting back into AM, and I am wondering if there is a command line option to render with out launching the User Interface? I did a quick look online but did not find anything.

Thanks,

Welcome back!

There is not a command line renderer, however V16 will include NetRender which renders A:M CHORs and PRJs without launching the whole schmeer.

...and even better: A nice interface which gives you full control over jobs, order of rendering jobs and so on.
Very very helpful and much easier but at least as powerful as typical command-line operations.

See you

Adam,
You might check in with Steffen Gross as he'd be able to help you extend Netrender functionality to the command line.
The capability may already be there just waiting to be further developed.

Welcome back!

Hi all,

Thanks for the info regarding the command line render and the possibility using netrender for that.

Rodney, it is great to be back here in the AM forums. smile.gif

Ah, just had a look at the webadress you've got there. Cool stuff!
I see why you need a batch-like commandline connection / API for that.

I am quite sure that Steffen can help you there! smile.gif

Best wishes
