I have 2 windows 7 machines. I can get the Server and Slave to work but whenever the Slave attempts to open the project it can't and closes out and is banned. I have the Drive shared and permissions set to allow full access by the slave but it doesn't work. Anyone else having this problem and have any tips for getting it to work? I hate to think I may need to install windows xp on my machines to get them to work.

Win 7 works fine.

okay I can hear the sound but no video??? It says I need additional codecs??? I have klite and every quicktime file known to man???

STrange.

Download Quicktime player if you dont have it installed already from apple. Make sure to view the video via quicktime player. Quicktime player alone may solve the problem. Download the quicktime of the movie / tutorial by right clicking on the link and choosing something like save link as to your desktop.THe option should be self explanatory but varies based on the browser. Once the quicktime is on your desktop play it. while open and in focus do this: on a pc hold down the cntrl key and press i. This will bring up some info on the quicktime. In this menu should be the codec that the video was encoded in. Google search for the free download of the codec. Download instal reboot and it will work.

The guy in the Tech Talk has one of my renders as his desktop image smile.gif How cool is that?
... It's nice when I find out someone else actually likes something I made.

Did he work for hash?
HomeSlice
Yep, Steve worked for Hash for like 20 years. I think he does something in the radiology field now.
