So it appears that if you have a camera in a folder net render cant see it.

so just take the camera out right? I did

My problem is that my camera is in a model and I cant take it out because of expressions.

Net render can see it so you can choose it in the dialog but errors on the render.

Error is: cant find camera

Can some one verify this.

This is a huge problem

I was trying a work around by constraining a camera that is not inside a folder or model to the camera that is in a model. Unfortunately it does not seem to be possible to constrain or create an expression for the focal length and depth of field.

I've done it before when someone was asking how to do stereo cameras with multi-pass (regular stereo renders black in multi pass)

Look for a thread by one of those German guys.

Robcat please try constraining the focal length of a default camera in a chor to this jib camera thats in a chor. I dont think its possible. Unfortunately Netrender errors on any model based cameras.

This PRJ ties the Cam 1 focal length to the techno crane focal length. I made it in v15 but it loads and seems to work in v16

Separately, however i don't' understand why the numbers on the channel for the focal length of the techno cam don't have the same values as the number in the properties.

The channel shows ~60 less than the actual value and stops teh property from going below 60 because the channel floors out at 0

Any work around for this issue Yoda?
