Hello everyone ...
Here is my submission to the "Bus Stop" project. You can view it here:
http://www.pencilwedgees.com/BusStop.htmlPlease let me know if anyone has any problems viewing it ... Thanks!
Robert:
Here is a link to the ZIP file that contains all my JPG image sequences as well as a WAV file for both the sound effects and the music. Please feel free not to add the music to the animation if it conflicts with whatever you are doing as a whole with everything. If you could please post a message to here when you have downloaded the ZIP file and that way I will know that you have read this. You can also find the same link to the ZIP file at the link listed above. Thank you Robert and please let me know if you have any problems with anything.

Hehe. Nice one!

Lots of cool effects in there too.
The bouncing of the raindrops... now that was a really nice yet subtle effect.

Ah! I was gonna do an umbrella gag... changed my mind... how did you do the water on the ground? Awesome!

Thanks everybody for the kind words and for taking a look!
@Rodney: Although you can turn on collision detection and bounce when using streaks (rain) ... I found it a little easier turning collision off and just creating three emitters ... one from the cloud ... one from the top of the umbrella's surface ... and one at the foot of the character. Then is looks like the rain is bouncing off of the surfaces.
@Matt: Sorry I jumped on the umbrella idea first. I hope you can figure something else out or heck, there is nothing wrong with having two umbrella animations. The water on the sidewalk was just a blob set to light gray with transparency and reflections that comes up from below the sidewalk. I then used muscle mode to animate this "blob" to follow where the character moved. Really nothing too technically involved because I ain't that bright in the first place ... hehehe!
Again thanks everyone!
