Hi Luuk.... I'm considering acquire your amazing product ..
A:M track 2 records the face movements in real time then exports an act to A:M to be used in any character with a face rig... right ?

In the Track 2īs interface I can see in the left my face ( with green dots ) and in the right a face rig 3d preview in real-time... Is there a way to use my own model in the real-time preview ???
if not .. this would be a great improvement to A:M track 3 smile.gif then we could use our characters in the live videos, conversation......

You can capture in real time or from a prerecorded video. The exporter for A:M exports bone rotations, or you can create custom pose controls (as many as you like) to drive you face with poses, or a combination of both. If you want to use the face rig option you can pick a marker layout that best suits your existing rig, or you can let A:M Track create the rig for you (in an A:M model file). The exported rig will be the same as the one you see in the real time preview in A:M Track 2.

Right now its not possible to have your own models controlled in real time too. I am considering making a plugin for A:M that can load and apply the data in real time but I'll have to see if that would be possible first and I'm not sure how much time that will cost. If I get to do that it would not have to wait for version 3, I think I could do this in a in between update.

Yes, my website works with PayPal. A download link will be send to you by email automatically after purchase. The software does require activation on the computer where you install it. If you use the 'submit online' option, that will be handled automatically too.

I know what you mean. I'm always so busy writing my software I just don't have the time to use it myself, other than doing some samples sad.gif
I'm looking forward seeing what you and others make!

Well--I've got a new camera, lots of plastic green beads and a bottle of 'spirit gum'! I am rigging my character, and the plan is to use AM:Track for all the facial animation smile.gif

Can someone be more specific as to what kind and color of beads I should purchase. There are 3 to 4 different type of green and what size and which kind of bead? Please help.

Try to get a 'strong' color. Not too dark and not too bright. The size of the beads depends on the video resolution you're recording. For HD 3 or 4 mm would be fine, and for SD 6 - 10 mm. If you're using portrait video orientation from real close, use smaller markers.

A tip for anyone who doesn't like the idea of using solvent based adhesives for attaching beads to your skin:

I have found that egg white works quite well with the light weight "Foamy" beads that I have made. Of course you should only use fresh egg white and keep it in the fridge until you are ready to paint it on. It dries quickly and will not irritate your skin, unless you have an egg alergy. If your beads are heavy then egg white may not be up to the job.

huh.gif How did you come up with that? Accident in kitchen? Food-fight?

... and concern to find an adhesive which was natural and solvent free. Just use fresh egg white though. We don't want any salmonela!

As promised, I have a new Zign Tracking video up on Hash Films.

It was a quick test today, as I finally found a way to adhere the green beads to my face. I just used rubber cement after it dried and created gummy balls.

Zign was easy to use, export out action and import it into A:M. I just recently upgraded to 15 j; so that's a kewl thing too.

I just had to adjust the channels on a few bones that I wanted to scale down a little. But it over all is a straight export. The video does not have audio, as I forgot to record it.

I will have others up in the coming week as I am doing test for a new animation series.

Enjoy all.
