Here is a draft edit of Sequence 3_01. There is no foley or music at the moment. Since there is very little dialog in this fairly long sequence, it seems a little slow at the moment without sound effects, screaming crows or music. Hopefully the final version will be more exciting ...
The bucket of water falling on Tin Man's head in the beginning went by way too fast, so I slowed it down in Premier. Can you tell what is happening?
I also added a shot clip of the Witch right before Pon gets zapped by the spell. Hopefully that will clarify what is happening to Pon.
So the question is - can you tell what is happening in this scene?

I'll upload a version to A:M films as soon as we get the foley work for it.

I don't know if we can tweak these further but......

If a little dark, I can tell what is happening. But then I know what should happen. I'm a little worried that the water lands on his head, but he can talk just fine after. He should've seen the bucked fall and ducked out of the way......only wetting his body.
Annndd.....SC needs to think before shouting out Blubity blubity blub.

What is that at 54:11:10?

Gloria looks face lifted when she smiles too hard. biggrin.gif

Other than that, good! wink.gif

That is the tail of the crow that flew into the camera. I struggled a bit with a way to get the crows from the sky, down to the people. It was a difficult transition for technical reasons. I tried a few different things but this is the first one that worked out. Then, the transition from this shot to the next one where everyone is running out of the way was too abrupt, so I made a crow fly into the camera and hide the camera lens with its tail. Then I did a cross dissolve to reveal the people running and screaming. Its the best I could do smile.gif

I have essentially similar thoughts:

Somehow TM could have responded by wobbling, weaving, or ducking some from the bucket, and then there could be some abrupt response/rebound after being bonked in the head. - it is weird that he can talk - perhaps the dialog could be mumbled up some ?

The crow tail looks weird perhaps because it's too well lit and doesn't appear black? Perhaps it's in front of the camera too long?

And yes Gloria's smile at the end is strange - maybe don't pull the corners so wide ?

The crow flock is impressive - but it was hard to make out - sounds should help

Well done regardless!
