So, we're getting closer to going into the production phase, however, we need to start designing the effects that will be uses, namely weapons and our FTL known as Visper drive. Weapons are fairly straight forward, going for a sort of hard ammo/energy mix, bit like Firefly. As with Visper drive, the effect I have in mind I seem unable to re-produce. I'll try and do up some sketches tomorrow, but basically, I'm looking for an effect where the ship sort of explodes in a cloud of energy when it exits FTL and implodes when it goes to FTL. It's hard to describe so pics are probably the only way. If anyone (or multiple people want to work together) please post! Models will be uploaded shortly, but this would be a major help for us if people would design and animate effects like that for us.
