I plan to purchase 3D painter however I don't want to purchase it if I'm stuck using the old version (I would rather wait for the new version to come out).

My question to Filipp is, if I purchase 3D Painter now am I eligable to be upgraded to the new version or will I have to pay again for the 2.X or whatever the new version is. depending on how close to release it is etc.

I just ordered 3D Painter after seeing it in Will's UV tutorial. This looks amazing, can't wait to try it out.
