I just noticed a "group" constraint. When did that sneak in there? It appears to let you constrain a bone to a named group in your model. Has anyone used it? What do you use it for?

hmmm...suspicious...perhaps it has something to do with newton groups?
I haven't played with newton, so I don't know what I'm talking about - but it sounded good.

That was in the notes a few versions ago. I think it was a Soulcage request. I haven't tried it yet.
I thought it was the opposite, to temporarily constrain a group to a bone?

It appears you can constrain a bone to a group. This may work well for constraining buttons (assigned to a bone) to simcloth groups.

It seems to constrain, but I can't adjust the rotation offset, even by entering numbers in the offset values.

Feature focus request
Remember my sock puppet? It was hard to attach the buttons because they had to follow the cloth which wasn't rigidly attached to a bone. I was attaching them with a path constraint, using a spline in the cloth as the path. But that was imperfect.
This may be a more exact way of attaching things to moving cloth.
