Sorry - no Master.log file in the Hash v15 folder. Anyone with a 64bit system get this version running? It obviously crashes out before it can eve write a log file.....

The error I get is:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library:
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Note that I have MS Visual C++ Express installed (along with VB Express). I can reinstall 15j and 15j works just fine....
OK I tried installing it in its own folder - no Master.lic file. It just crashes without doing anything else.....

David,
I got a similar error upon first install.
The installer was set to install files into the v15.0 directory.**
I reinstalled (changing the directory location to my previous location of 'v15.0 j' ) and A:M started up on the next try.
Note: For the plus versions I generally do not create a new directory as the plus usually indicates a fix that makes the previous install obsolete.
**Before I manually changed the location on reinstall, it looked like it was pointed for a v15 folder -inside- my v15.0 j directory. I'm not sure what it was exactly but I remember thinking it looked odd.

I've tried installing into the existing directory, into a new directory both subscription and CD versions and I get the same error in all cases. I should point out that I do not get the error on my other Win7 Laptop - but it is a 32bit version not 64bit....

Who is having the problem with the runtime error , should try to create a empty file named "master.log" in the A:M program directory .
(if You don't specify another location at "C:\Program Files\Hash Inc\V15.0\")
Please let me know , if this has helped .

Fixed it for me as well.
Is there also a fix , so I can start with the Simbiont2.atx in as well?
At the moment it quits , when it`s in.

I believe A:M just installs the Simbiont2.atx file. (Its there in my v15.0j folder and is working)
If you dragged and dropped another file over perhaps you overwrote something you weren't suppose to?

Simbiont needs also the VC80 CRT , which isn't included in the A:M installer .
If this runtime is not installed, You can download and install it from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=enThis should help .

the 15 folder is freshly installed

Do you mean by A:M directory to look into these as well?

You may have several versions of A:M installed but the folder that your V15 is in should look like this
