Here's a piece I'm working on which is intended to be used as a theme for when action is happening, or well mainly dealing with the Skregg. This is a slightly older version of the piece as I haven't exported the newest version yet.

thats a nice bed it has weight to it
you'll be able to break that up and add color and texture to threw out

you gave a hint of maybe a Symphonic melody theme over the top of that in the beginning
it would be nice to cultivate that
then would have 2 hooks The Orchestra melody and the percussion track

yeah, i been playing with that. See it started out as being intended as trailer music, but once I got going into it, it sounded more rough and suited the enemy more, so I've playing with variations without the symphonic bit, and have replaced it with a gruff electric guitar. But, It's something I'll keep working on today when I wait for shots to render!

The piece I have here is incomplete so far; I call it "Duranthal Firestorm," and I plan on finishing it tonight. This is to be featured in ELC.

you have a real nice piece here
but your mix is very muddy so your backing instrumentation is getting lost behind that guitar riff
when it gets to the second movement it loses its drama and excitement because of the mix

I'm not sure if you need anything else musically to get to that finale peak
because at this point i think it needs to be cleaned up

I listened to your mixes on Hi end Tannoy speakers in a studio control room
and regular consumer ikey speakers

Thanks for your comment. This version probably won't be final, and my skills in music arent exactly the best (as is everything I do come to think of it...) but I will keep your suggestions in mind and see what I can do to clean it up some.

your skills are just fine, and your on the right track ( no pun )
just be patient with yourself
make a couple of disks and play it threw different sources
soft at first then you can kick it up
also walk away from it for a few days or a week it will clear your ears

and maybe just try remastering the finale mix, mess with eq and try some tests with that
