Chances are you guys probably know about this already but I couldn't find anything in the search under Logorama so I thought I would post it.

It's really good in a very subversive sort of way. Almost like a Pulp Fiction without the continuity displacement... and with logo's.

Anyway, check it out. Fair warning there is a good deal of cursing and some sexual themes (no nudity but an animated character gets her butt grabbed).

Enjoy.

EDIT: Oh wait there is a bit of nudity... Bob's Big Boy moons the MGM Lion in the zoo. LOL. So yeah.... some nudity.

Oh wow it was deleted? Bummer it was really good. Supposedly it was at Sundance and there it some Oscar buzz surrounding it.

Yeah JB that YouTube clip is from the Logorama but the movie is over 16 minutes long so it's just a small clip. A shame really but I guess it must have been a copyright violation thing.

I was considering downloading it too and I didn't. Ah well.

Cartoon Brew has links up to all five of the Oscar Nominated shorts for 2010 and I checked the one for Logorama and it seems to work.

Interesting - I enjoyed them all, especially "A Matter of loaf and death". The "lady & the Reaper" was also a new one for me, had seen the other 2 before (french roast, Granny O' grimm) - all were fun shorts, excellently done with good story

I think "logorama" was my least favorite - I was very distracted by all the trademarks, logos - so much so, that I couldn't focus on anything else but the logos, and I eventually got bored, and stopped watching. Shoot-em-ups, car chases...just don't hold my interest, but it had an clever style. I can understand why it might be more interesting to others.

I liked the idea of "Logorama", but I think they beat the idea to death. "The Lady and the Reaper" had that problem too. I notice a lot of European shorts do that.

Here's an article on/interview with the "Logorama" makers. They spent four years on it!

French Roast was down, so i couldn't see that.

I enjoyed "Granny O'Grimm"

I haven't watched the W&G short yet. I want it to be great, but I worry it won't be.

I think that will be the winner of the bunch - I really enjoyed it. It's definitely worth watching if you're a Wallace & Gromit fan (and even if you're not)
