I just updated my A:M. I scanned through and hit next when I realized it asked for my Serial #

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still wont let me input my key.

How do I activate my program?

I checked Help>About Animation Master. And under "Serial Number: Expires: Not Activated"

Do I have to uninstall the whole program, reinstall update with key?
John Bigboote
Yeah- if all else fails...uninstall reinstall.

I reinstalled, all my models, action tab stuff are relinked. When I try to install the update. It still doesnt let me enter a key.

Enter your 'key'? i'm not sure what you are asking.

What OS are you installing the software on?

Windows 7

Screen Shot. (Doesn't let me add a key anymore. At first it did. And once I complete the update. Everything in my Tabs, Models, Actions are not linked when I run the CD)

Try installing the v15i update (assuming you have a current CD). I installed the update and it let me install with or without the serial (I just installe dit without and it ran fine then installed it again with - no change other than on the Help/About screen displaying a blank serial or not and the words "not activated" next to Expires. I am not aware that the CD version requires activation..... It's keyed/activated by the presence of the CD itself isn't it?

at least with V13, the CD required an activation key, so i can't imagine why that changed. If I remember correctly, it came on some pamphlet o something that I had to fill out and return, and the Key was also stamped in my TAOAM book on the front page

Yes I did. That's the latest off the hash site. I'm scanning thought my tabs and I got a duplicate set of stuff in the tabs w/ blue questions marks.

I loaded the program, Project>Open>FW-190 (and it prompts me to open three other files) . I hit cancel on all three windows and my saved file loads.

I dont know whats going on with this patch file for me. I'll stick to the regular install.

Since I installed the patch, the one glitch that I noticed was fixed. When I click and drag its no longer grey. It's clear with Green marque outline like in Photoshop.

CD version doesn't require activation

This is correct .
If the CD version is installed once , You don't need to enter the serial again after/while updating .
