So, I'm working on texturing this model, when I notice that some of the small details look different on one side then they do the other. It is simply these grates in the engines of a ship. So I delete the odd looking ones and copy and paste the good looking ones, except that they paste with the mesh inverted. I can't get it to rotate around because then the small end is on top where it needs to be on the bottom. Thought I'd throw this out in case someone has seen something like this before.

Can't you just scale it minus 100% in the appropriate axis to flip it the way you want it?

an update that i've discovered about this oddity, is that when it renders, the un-circled one looks like the circled one. I dunno, I guess as long as they both look the same in the render it's Ok, though I like the un-circled one better

When I have used copy and paste in the past, When I select a group from the PWS and copy, sometimes there is a CP or two that doesn't copy (or doesn't paste).
I've discovered that if I:
1. select the group in the PWS
2. Hide everything else in the window
3. Select the group in the window with the cursor group select
4. Then C-S then C-V, it turns out accurately

give it a try, then when the new group is still selected from the paste, right click on the group and hit "flip> x axis" and see if that doesn't do it

oh yeah, i've hidden and done all the basics to be sure, and this is the only time ever I've had a copy issue. It could possibly be a graphics card issue though I think that is highly unlikely.
