I was looking to have a look at the patch decaling thingy ,I allready have a decal on my model but was hoping to make it better with this ,any idea how to get to it please

Patch decaling is dropping an image onto a group. The image will then be placed on each patch of the group and stretched to the size of the patch. Hooks and 5 point patches have issues. Image rotation on the patch is random (not sure how A:M knows how to orient it). Right clicking on a selected patch you can rotate the image.

select the group that you want to apply the patch image to - right click - select "add image" - you will probably have to then fiddle with "rotating" these images as well. You also can select the type (eg color, bump etc)
IFC, A regular color decal applied to the same patches will take precedence over the patch images (of same type) - so either remove the regular decal (right click - remove decals), or change the opacity of the color decal to less than 100% for blending the 2 methods on the same patch.
