Some action files to go with the 208 rig ,

Hey Steve. I took a look at your actions, here's a few pointers. First, the actions must not contain any custom poses, muscle motion or added bone keyframes, these will not transfer to other models well. Second, Keyframe the arm and leg FK/IK poses and spine poses (turn them ON/OFF or OFF/ON) on the first frame, this way the rig knows the setup for the action. Not everyone will have the same default setup as you. Next, you should learn to animate the arms in FK, it will give you smoother arcs. Plus the translation of the hand targets do not transfer to other model well, it depends on the size of the character. The legs have the same problem, but they shouldn't be too hard to fix. The actions will usually need some kind of editing, but these suggestions will help minimize the issues.

Thank's Mark ,I have a bad habit with the arms,Im just getting used to using the hand lock thing and find it great .I will try to remember what you say but it would be usefull to have a libary of actions ready to go ,even if you have to adjust it a bit to get exactly what you need .I find looking at others actions really interesting and learn a lot from them.I never gave the poses a thought to be honest and didn't realize about the on off thing on the first frame So learning all the time cheers Mark
