I made a pose to try and stop the pass through when the feet pass in a walk ,as the chatector has bell-bottem jeans.I think it works fairly well ,better than it was anyway.I don't know if theres a better way to do this

Yes, I think that's the most straight forward solution.

I suppose a cloth simulation would be possible but it might be tough to get the cloth at the end of the cycle to match the shape it had at the beginning.

Thank's ,to both .I didn't know if you would sugest cloth ,I was hoping not as I havent touched on that yet and looking at your tests its complicated.God only knows why I made the bell bottems in the first place ,just seemed a good idea at the time ,then I didn't want to change it,but its something to bear in mind next time

Steve I had a time with cloth simulations but I think it looked pretty good, and she is doing those jeans proud! LOL
