This is one of the character models I used for my class animation. (I didn't finish the film, but I still managed to get an A!) I rigged him myself, from scratch. It's a simple rig, but it gets the job done. He's ready to work with the dopesheet. He could use another one or two pose sliders for the eyebrows, and maybe some smartskin on the fingers, but that's about it.

Feel free to do whatever you want with him, customize him to your heart's content.
