Here's a very quickly done tutorial on rigging an auto focus camera. There is a lot of silence in there, I didn't have as much time as I would have liked. In the ZIP file is the video (H.264 video, AAC audio) with a subtitles file (it is recognized by VLC or SMPlayer...not sure what else) and the model from the video. It's a very basic model since it is only meant to show how to set one thing up.

Thanks! That's a good one. That makes me think we could do the same with auto-zoom. I mean those shots where the camera gets closer to an actor while the actors on screen size does not change, it makes the background bend i a cool way. I'm sure there's a name for this kind of shot but I don't know how it's called.

This is really great stuff!

With this, Jason's Techno Crane and hopefully the fish eye lense, we are going to have a studio quality camera!

I dont think auto zoom would be as practical. You may have to have two nulls and at that point you may just want to have a slider.

I dont think auto zoom would be as practical. You may have to have two nulls and at that point you may just want to have a slider.
