OK i have asked many thing on this forum but I'm happy to Say that hopefully i can finally give back .

ironically i asked how to do this just a few hours ago but after some tinkering found a way that gives good results

best thing its simple , this will create a wire-framed render of what ever object you want wire-framed.

first create 2 groups both identical of the object to be wire-framed

this part is critical to make this work

in the objects menu select the top group, set this group as render as lines

select the bottom group , set its transparency to 100%

when you render you should have a wire frame like this

Your mini-tutorial led me back to experimenting with Render as Lines again and I now feel even more comfortable with it.
