Hi All,

I just downloaded a 15.0i web subscription, installed it on an imac c2d 2.4 ghz, when I launch it, it goes to the AM community input screen, input my user name, input organisation - then CRASH ! Cant activate it, can't use it - I am not a newbie - but there is no support forum to post this into. VERY ANNOYING @ 2 AM in the morning ! Did I just waste my money by getting this upgrade for nothing when the older version was working fine ???? Help !

Hmm. You can make a report at A:M Reports.

I'm using 10.6.2 and it works fine. Have you tried re-installing it? (Rather than installing it over the last version?)

Running OS X 10.5.6 . . . I really expected for this not to happen after all these years which I have been absent from the AM scene, I thought it was past the glitchy days . . . . really pisses me off . . .

Am: Reports ??? Doesn't let me sign in with my existing user account - this is ridiculous. Why is a reports section closed to the user group ??

I have emailed support in the mean time.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. Hopefully Hash will be able to help.

So A:M runs, just not the community window?

I'm running OSX 10.6.2 and all seems reasonably OK for me. Its not as stable as the Windows version in some areas (for me that is Project Load and Rendering) but on the whole it works.

Cheers

It's not closed to you, it's just a separate registration from the forum. You can ask them to make it the same user name and password if you want.

You have to register again for A:M Reports. You can however register with the same name and password, so that this isnt a problem.
A:M Report is open to EVERYONE!

Haha the solution ! Just use it on windows through bootcamp or virtualisation . . . kinda defeats the purpose of getting a mac version, when 99% of all my work is on a mac.

Could you please stop getting pissed... we are getting too if you are.

Seems like someone is doing something about A:M Reports. Yesterday it was still working. I put in a featurerequest just yesterday.

It can be that this is a permission problem for the A:M directory , like this topic

Problem Fixed ! THANKS TO THE HAS SUPPORT CREW ! This should be published in a readme file or on the board with the installer for other people who have the same problems.

This is not a new problem either. Several years ago I wrote a bug report (A:M Reports) about this specific issue. From the replies I received from the HASH group I thought it was going to be addressed. You are right, these should be a "Read Me" file or something.
