Here's a couple of pages I found by the original author of SimCloth, Vladimir Koylazov, where he discusses the meaning and use of SimCloth parameters.

Internal Cloth Forces

Solver Precision Parameter

includes movies comparing parameter settings

I don't know that the numbers are directly transferable to the A:M version but the essential concepts appear to be.

I guess so...

FROM WEBSITE: Development started in January 2000. Version 2.50 appeared in July 2000. Only minor updates and fixes followed in the next two years. SimCloth3 v1.0 was released in December 2002.
