My norton anti virus Worm protection detected and Blocked (luckily, I hope) an intrusion attempt

And I didn't even try to down load - this alert popped up immediately

Hey Postality... why don't you just zip the mdl and upload it to this forum?

Norton AV is horrible for any NT based system and flags alot of things that are false positives. Which is why not many people use it anymore. I use to use and provide norton back in 9x days, but as a IT tech I wouldn't touch it on any NT based system today.

However, since I can use the forum I will do that as I didn't know I could.

Funny. This was the first site I've ever had that warning pop up. I can't say I've had any other false positives.

I wondered if it was really real. But I figure I'd rather have a zillion false positives than 1 false negative.

I'm not that big a fan of Norton either. Their headquarters is 2 miles from me. They were responsive when I walked in the front door 3 years ago, after they DIDN'T catch a very well known virus. Maybe it was the crazed look on my face?
