I am having problems with 15g and saving textures after creating a projection paint. Has anyone else worked with AM Paint with 15g

Where exactly do you have these problems?

thanks for the response. I can not get am paint to save to the model. I was using it as a plug in. After I completed a projection paint and saved the textures it would not bring in the modifications I had completed when I exited am paint back to AM.

Nancy stated to try and use it as a stand alone app and load the model that way and export.

Do you have a decal saved on the model before you go to 3D paint?

Steve - heres the steps - assume you have both A:M & paint open (as standalone)

1) decal in A:M (eg using image.tga) - save model

2) go into Paint - open model

3) modify image used for decal

4) export image to new name - eg image2.tga

5) go back to A:M - import image2.tga into A:M

6) go to decal container/image - click on image - choose the new one (image2.tga) to replace the old one (image.tga)

EDIT: IF you choose to "SAVE" modified textures in step 4 (instead of export) then your original file image.tga will get overridden. When you go back into A:M - you will most likely have to double click on the image (under the images folder - not in the decal container) to see the change reflected in the model in A:M. At least that's what I have to do.
