Hello All,
I have just installed Windows 7 and purchesed the Web A:M. But its not working. The program starts and I see the normal screen but the program is Not Responding.
As this is the first time I have used the Web A:M a guess its trying to register the computer. Is there something I missed. Is there some thing I am ment to do before running the software for the first time?

Is it connected to the internet? Running on Win7 shouldn't be much different to Vista. Perhaps you need to disable the composition in the AM icon properties?

Does Win7 have some firewall feature that needs to be told to allow A:M to reach the internet?

Good Suggestions but no that is not the problem.
I disabled the firewall and checked its internet connection still same problem.
It’s also using 50% processing power doing whatever it’s doing.

I'm running Win 7 and have no problems with WebAM though I did geit to Win 7 though an upgrade to Vista - haven't tried an activation via Win 7 as yet.

Best bet is to email Support at Hash dot com and let them know. Worse case scenario, if it is the activation, they can generate a license key file for you.

first try a start with hiolding the shift key down ,

if this doesn't help

Open the program properties
add in Destination (or Target didn't know how it's named originally) after master.exe the option "-log"

and post the file master.log , which will be in the A:M directory

and look if is in the A:M directory a file called master0.lic .

From your logfile I have seen , that A:M stops at validating the registration .
It's look like there is a problem with Your licensefile .

After You have put in Your activationcode , have You seen this dialog window?

Look in Your A:M directory ("C:\Program Files\Hash Inc\V15.0\") , there should be a file called "master0.lic" , move this file to another place .
Than restart A:m , the activation dialog should come up again , put in Your activation code again .

If this doesn't help also , please open a bugreport on A:m reports , because in this situation I need to view into the licensefile , this file should NOT
attached here .

I remember typing in my contact details but not the code. I have not been asked for the code and there is not file called master0.lic in the directory.

Have You downloaded the right installation paket , should be named AMWeb.exe ?

Remove V15 with the uninstall link .
Than reinstall it .
through the first start of A:M there should come up two dialogs,
first the contact data , second a dialog , where You must type in
the activation code .

Hello Yoda64,
I did not get the "Online Activation" box. It has never come up. after the details box I get a Choose Components box which askes to select the components to install:
I uninstalled and downloaded the file again and tried to install the software on both Windows 7 and my vista laptop. Both have not had A:M installed since the last reinstall (wipe and reinstall).
Both do the same thing. No Online activation box comes up.

I guess I need to report a install bug?

The dialog box for the online activation would be displayed at the first programm start from A:M , not during the installation process .

If this doesn't happend , please open a bug report .
