How I made him was I took Santa Lion off the extras CD and put Myrons head on him.

Perhaps he has an ambiance value set too high. Usually anything more than 0 is too high.
AND- Look to see if he has any 'toon' settings set and disable them.
He looks 'lit'! Smell his breath.
Obviously modeled after someone who is very bright!
