We just hit 2.500 veiws!
I have also noticed that if you search for The Tin woodman of Oz I am getting more hits to our project.

I have noticed that Mrs. Yoops Song has over 5000 hits, followed by Part 1, at about half that, and thereafter the views fall into the low hundreds.
So, what lessons can we learn from this?

The movies need more tags. Or kids start watching TWO late at night and have to go to bed before they get past part 1. Or it actually put them to sleep. Or initial enthusiasm for the movie waned and was left on the shoulders of a handful of volunteers to complete....including finishing part 1. Or Oz isn't as magical as it once was. Or our re-writes didn't go down well. Or we're targeting the wrong market. Or the colours in Nancys song icon just beg to be clicked.
Could be any, all or none of them.

Whatever TWO's merits or lack of, Youtube is a bad place for long form video.
Checking some other features there that are broken up in the same manner, there's always a huge drop off after the 1st segment. Youtube is for short form. (Like my "Heavy Push"! Which, by the way, has 31,341 views.

)
I still think sending it to festivals would get TWO some nice exposure.
Earlier this year I offered to Martin that I'd do the leg work of getting TWO submitted if he'd provide the DVDs and entry fee money and he was sort of on board for the idea but then he went on safari...

What Robcat said. YouTube isn't the place for a feature length ANYTHING. It's a good place to get the ball rolling but it should either be available full-length somewhere else, or available for sale on disc.
Maybe Martin will feel re-committed to the project on his return.
Are there any filmmaker's sites, maybe like Vimeo, that would host a feature-length film like this?

Is there any way that it could be burned onto a DVD and just sold over the internet or at conventions (where it could play on a DVD player next to a stack of DVDs for sale, along with animation master...). It seems to me that just because traditional distribution didn't happen, that doesn't mean no one wants to watch it.
Kaze:Ghostwarrior, Killer Bean Forever, LOR.... Those are independently distributed. Why not TWO?
I know that I would buy a copy

Indeed. There have been requests in the youtube comments for the dvd.

I for one get a little antsy watching any online vid that's longer than say five minutes. I've only watched the first segment of TWO. I'd love to relax in front of the TV instead of sitting in my studio.
When I found out there were episodes of "Firefly" on iTunes I bought two. But I've only watched one. that was like six months ago.

There is no "Animation"? "cool" wont help anything, because everyone will put that in... hash animation master should although be in there.

Up to 3500 hits, but still no sign of the tags being changed. I wonder what the hit count would have been if they had.
