im sure this has been covered but would like a little hint to my problem. how do you keep the cloth from intersecting the model? there must be a setting right?

two ideas...

-larger collision distance

-make that intersected mesh transparent so it isn't seen.

-after you simulate, temporarily shrink or move the intersected mesh so it isn't seen. This would be muscle mode animation.

yes those would seem to work, but shouldn't there be a way for the cloth to just bounce off the leg?

-another possibility is the setting that increases the subframes of time that A:M tests for collision. I dont' recall where it is exactly. You'll have to search that.

Homeslice has a tut on cloth. If you haven't checked that yet you might.
