How?s the progress on SO going on with the absence of Martin?

Moving on considerably slower I suppose?

Does anybody know, when he will probably be back?

(AND Does anybody know, if HAMR is still being developed?)

Sorry, I know: curiosity killed the cat!

But we were used to hear so much from Martin once.

SO is coming along. We had to stop animating for awhile and work on sets and rigging and textures and stuff.
Martin was the only one who was active about getting people to join in, so now participation is a lot more casual.
In the second week of July I got a couple of big website projects practically on the same day and I've been pulling several all-nighters to get those wrapped up so I can devote my time back to SO. They are almost done! yay!

Jinxland village is almost done.
It still needs a detailed flower cart or flower stand with flowers that three people can hide behind.
It also needs 4 more detailed merchant shops/tents/stalls and about 6 that are not so detailed to place in the background.

Jinxland castle is almost done
It needs a few trees and bushes and such in the courtyard.

The witch's cottage set needs grass/trees/bushes and some boulders or other landscape elements to break up the surface a little.

We need 6 or 7 Jinxland Villagers with clothing and hair that changes color.
We need 6 or 7 Jinx Castle courtiers with clothing and hair that changes color.

King Krewl needed work on his rigging and cp weighting, so to make things easier for me, I re-rigged him with the Lite Rig. I still need to install the face and work out some glitches I'm having with dynamic constraints.

Will it be the same set up as Bumpyman? I found him slower to animate facially but didn't say anything as he's only in a few shots.

As far as I know HAMR is no longer being developed and Ken Chaffin has moved on.

Yep I noticed that too Ken. The big thing I noticed that the LiteFace rig doesn't have is a Null for "F/V - M/P/B - EE" posing of the lips. I'll try to add that.

Is there anything else that would make LiteFace faster to animate?

If you really want to use the face rig from the 2008 rig, you are more than welcome to install it in any new characters. Just let me know so I can give you a heads up when I finish the body rigging for new characters.

I'm not overly attached to using the LiteRig or LiteFace, even though they are my babies. They are just 100 times easier to install, modify and troubleshoot.
If you want to installs rigs, you can use any rig you want.

Yeah, those were the poses.....I had to use the pose window to do them. If you can add those to the rig, problem solved. If not, I don't mind posing the original face rig but I'm not sure how to implement it into the body rig.

Aww crap, I forgot how to do it blink.gif
Can someone please give me a recap on how to control a pose slider with a Null?

Thanks ...
