Ok I tested this, it looks like the new installer writes and reads that information from a different registry string. So yes it will ask you that the first time you use the new installer.

Sorry another question do we unimstall 15e first then install 15f as right now 15f does not install gives errors
Hi Jason,
How are you doing. How's your pool game?
I bought the CD version last year sometime in June. I was told then that i qualified for all updates for one year. I was sweating the release of 15f. I just downloaded the update, but haven't tried to install it. Would I install it the same way as a subscription installation or would it be different somehow?
Thanks, Bud,
Myron

In all of my testing there is no need to uninstall 15.0e to use 15.0f As for the CD version we are working on it now.
As for my pool game it has fallen off some lately.
And I would say that i will never say my nick name but I'm sure someone will spill the beans.

Thank you, my update worked like a charm
Thanks Jason,
I was just hoping to get the CD version of 15f before my year was up. I'd hate to resort to blackmail and ask Heath for that nickname.

YES! Finally we can use the Space Navigator with A:M... right? I've just installed the update but I get no response when I move my Space Navigator. I couldn't any any settings/options for the SN as well. How are we supposed to get this working?
Thanks for the update!
EDIT: Found the option to switch the device on in the options panel. Still having problems but noticed there is a special SN topic so I will post the other question there.

Under both Vista and XP i can render your project to a QT file. I will post them when they are done.

Is plugin TSM2 still working?
If not, can I have 15e and 15f have installed both at the same time?

I believe so. Instead of installing 15f into the default "V15.0" folder, simply create a new folder, e.g "V15.0f"

I have no testing in TSM2. As for the QT i can pick QT but nothing comes out after the render finishes. I will look into this more.

I just installed 15.0f. over 15.0e. Is there a place I can re-install 15.0e? Everytime I try to render to mov format with 15.0f, it only creates the insfo file that I thought was going to be removed a few versions back.
No mov. Just a useless insfo after render. Weird.

I'm looking at this time into the qt problem , no report is needed .

Yes. I was just about to report that too. A:M goes through the rendering process but does not save a QT file.

Same problem with the Mac version. It does create a .mov file, but the file is 0k and can't be opened.

Okay , I have now found and fixed the quicktime problem (hopefully not breaked other things ...) and have sent the release version to Hash .
I think it will go online into the next hours , You'll need than to redownload and install again.
Sorry for the inconvenience .
