I finally got the Bumpy Man Sequence rendered and edited together. We have everything but Scene 3. There isn't any foley yet.

UPDATE: Ken finished his Bumpy Man scenes and now the whole sequence is finished! ... well, except for foley.
This is the longest sequence in the movie so far and there is a bunch of dialog, but it stays interesting. Wow, great job everyone. smile.gif

Oh good job everyone! I'll get on to that missing act soon. I was having some crashes and got abit discouraged. Scrubbing the timeline causes the computer to lock up sometimes......I don't think it's AM only as it's happened with other software too.

I'm not sure how the Kudo's should be distributed, but distributed they most certainly should be. Great animation. I think SO is shaping up quite, quite nicely.

I'm getting this error sometimes too. I can recover from this, but it needs a restart to work in AM again. It may have something to do with this particular scene. Anyone know what this error means?

I don't know for sure, but that looks to me like a hardware driver issue of some sort. Have you unstalled your video drivers and re-installed them already? What about downloading new video drivers? Have you tried uninstalling Quicktime and installing an earlier version? 7.5.5 is working well on my computer. If you have installed any of those "all-in-one' codec packs, those can possibly cause issues from time to time. That's all I can think of for now.

If you can discover a repeatable sequence of steps to reproduce this error, I will try to repeat it on my computer, but I have never encountered that particular error.

MCI? - I think that's related to audio drivers? sound card issue? audio codec?

MCI error 289 is a sound related problem

from the windows multimedia sdk

Please open a report, when it is repeatable error (with a projectfile simple as possible ...)

Occur this, when You importing a chor with a soundfile in it and in the project self another soundfile with the same name exist ?
KenH
Ah.....I did add another wav file to the shot and the problems started after that. It had a similar but not exact name to an existing one. It's not repeatable with steps. Thanks all.

Excellent. How long is the first half? Do you think the second half will be similar time? Then there are songs to go in too.

The first half is about 33 minutes long. I have no idea how long the second half is going to be smile.gif
