Finished the body of the main character, tomorrow I'll build him some clothes. And I still need to clothe the instructor.

Hey guys...been super busy here with school (only ~3 quarters left before graduation!)
Just finished laying out the rig for the main character's face. (Had a short break between chemistry homework and cinematography final project.)
I'll hopefully have time to attach the geometry this wednesday.

Main character face rigged!
I'm hoping to get more done on this project this weekend before next week of "Jesse Un-Plugged" - where I'm going to spend one whole week NOT sitting in front of the computer and get all my biking and hiking out of my system.

That is actually all the bones visible. As face rigs go, it is simple.

Well in that case I think I would like to give it a go ,is there a tut anywhere for it or is this your own rig OR would you be doing a tut sometime ,when you get the time as I know your busy

Yeah, this is my own rig, I like to think of it as a rubber mask rig. Essentially, no parts are parented. The control points are all nulls. All the bones are kinematic and translate-to constrained to those nulls, with "Scale to Reach" turned on. They function as stretchy muscles in the face, and are constrained to points they intersect (with some weighting) The only real "trick" is that the lower lip nulls are parented under one null that translates 50% with the jaw null, and the jaw null is aimed-at by the jaw bone. My layout of "muscles" is pretty basic; you can get as complex as you want. The main advantage is that the face can stretch along the muscle bones when you shape the mouth, jaw etc. It makes for very "lively" face motions, so you don't have to think about moving the cheeks etc when you smile or curl the lips. (I'm even planning to take the idea step further eventually for fat characters or muscle bulges in limbs.) The "Scale to Reach" is an extremely powerful option...

Thanks, I use Darktree procedural human iris free texture for the colour map and the trick is to model the cornea too.
Without a lens, the eye looks flat and dead.
Never, I mean NEVER skimp on the eyes.
Reflections? Check. Refraction? Check.
Transparency? Procedural texturing? Check. Check.
Worth every clock-cycle.

But thanks for the encouragement. I'm trying to get as much done as possible before class start again.
