Here's what I have so far. No lip sync yet. Comments are much appreciated.
Rodney
Holmes,
Thats nice!

I've watched this about 10 times thinking I'd offer some advice somewhere but... I've got little too suggest.
So I'll offer the two things that most seemed to be a little out of place?

- Trots final gesture as she says 'Doomsday'.
My thought is this gesture is unnecessary and may actually detract from the earlier two gestures.
It seems after the second gesture she could just drop her hand/arm and convey the final 'keep walking 'til doomsday' without gesture. What do you think?

- The Orks final Pose/head drop
Something seems awkward here but I can't put my finger on it.
At a guess here I'd say this could use a slight camera pan as the Ork's head moves to the left -with his neck following down and to the left with it. The isolation of the head moving alone may be what is a little awkward. Alternately, the Ork could be staged just slightly farther to screen right (or the camera could zoom just a little) so that when his neck and head drop to the left he's still in frame. This would allow for a nice arc of movement.

As I was going through trying to refine my comments here it seemed Trots shoulders could use just a little more movement in her first walk. The second time we cut to her she has good movement but the first time they are locked in pretty tight.

Really though... I'm really searching here and these suggestions can easily be disgarded.

It looks great and will look even better when lit! smile.gif

very nice holmes.. smile.gif i agree with rodney about the final pose of the ork and trots walk at the beginning.... trots "doomsday"-gesture looks fine to me... but i noticed a little "jump" in bills walkcycle, i guess there are just some curves to adjust at the start and the end of the cycle...

greets..

Looking really good overall. Here are the things that stood out for me.

For Cap'n Bill's walk cycle, there are two places, one with each leg. First, the right leg between frames 69 and 71 you see it snap straight. Second, at frame 100 to 101, there is a weird slipping.
Trot's walk through Frame 100 looks rather floaty with no weight for most of it.

Frame 182 - Trot's left hand's fingers seem to bend back too far.
Frame 286 - Trot's left hand's fingers bend back too far, and her hand is at an awkward position.

Frame 800-818 - Trot holding her hand up to her face looks a little odd. The pose right before that with her looking up at the ork is very strong, maybe you can just do a continuation or variation of that?

Thanks for the input folks. Here's the next version.
Here are also some renders.
5-pass, Motion Blur 20%, etc...
It looks like there is an issue with the volumetric light on Bill's pipe.
I guess you noticed Trots hair too?
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Looks great!

On the closeup of Trot, while she's talking, move the camera up and down (or hold it stationary and let her move up and down), so that it looks like she's walking.

Last comment ...
Frame 121-130
Frame 183-248
Frame 414-442
In all of these cases, Trot's head is bent way low, and you don't see her face at all, really. It might be nice to either have her head not be bent down as low (maybe don't bend the neck down, just the head?) or have the camera positioned a little lower looking slightly up at her.

Everything else seems pretty much spot on now from my eyes.

I moved the camera on Trot's closeup so it looks like she is walking. I only moved it from its current height, down, then up to the current height (instead of moving the camera up) so you can see a little more of her face as well.
