Those of you who can't make it out to Chicago, you can view the film simultaneously through the magic of the internet!

How brilliant! I'm so thrilled that it is finished - you must be so proud. Hope the party went well, and you got everybody to watch it at least half-a-dozen times!
This is a showcase for just about every 'feature' of A:M - (except maybe fluids

)
My fave part - the exploding bunny.
Love the fingers pose at the end.
And great choice of music.
And you should put a post in the main A:M forum, in case people miss it here - it's such an achievement to actually FINISH a movie

Just been out for my nightly post-prandial stroll, and the part that stays with me the most is the old man looking up to the sun with hope - you got his eyes just right, especially contrasted with the bunnies' two-dimensional eyes.

Bravo!
That is really quite amazing on several levels.
I got the distinct impression this film could be a major blockbuster movie.
(well... it was a fleeting impression but... I did get that)
The problem with that would be the filler material they'd have to add to make it 90 minutes.
That and the cost of getting Mel Gibson to play the main character.
Short films like that leave you wanting to see more.
That was over too quickly.

Great movie, (5 stars on YouTube): pacing, direction, cinematography, effects - all great!
As a fellow moviemaker, I watched with a critical eye for story. This one made you think - which is much better than a demonstration piece that emphasizes some aspect of animation mechanics. Symbolic stuff is difficult but you pulled it off. The singing angel at the end was effective in loosening the tone - it was a good dichotomy between serious & humor.

I've watched this through several times and I must say that you guys did a good job! It has atmosphere, controlled pacing, a distinct design style, good effects, a short but universal story and a happy ending.

Congratulations, Jesse and Dushan! Quite an achievment.

You staring at me, Martin?

Just going off to post another droll example of animation mechanics...

Oops! Take foot - insert in mouth... Paul, I'm assuming your "tests" are leading up to a story - and I look forward to it!
Jesse: one down... And I assume YOU have another idea in the burner too.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and accolades - we have both been basking in praise from all sides the last two days (we did a second showing today.)
Dushan is gratified as well, he is glad that you like his story/direction. I only wish you could have all been here to see it projected wall-size, much nicer than youtube

And Martin - yes, there is a new project afoot. Check out "Figure Drawing" in the WIP.
Thank you again, everyone! This forum has been invaluable to our motivation!

Ok, I finally watched it and WOW!!!
I loved it, very intense, almost felt out of my chair when the angel started to sing, I showed it around and we all loved every bit of it.
Looking forward to another masterpiece, this one is in the vault and thanks to both of you!

Thanks guys, we are all very grateful and pleasantly surprised by all the positive response from all of you. Dushan & I are currently working on our next film, a more classically comedic and still quirky piece called "Figure Drawing". I wrote this next one.
Thanks again!! (Wish you all didn't have to see it on youtube..)
