Here's what I have so far.

Nice! The only thing that sticks out is King Krewl suddenly being there. I realise it's not realtime in the narration, but it looks a little odd. Perhaps a solution would be to point the camera at Pon in the previous shot so we can't see behind Gloria.

It seems ok to me but I see it as not realtime Naration but to some it might? But I like what I see so far Holmes keep posting I make some suggestion but I know you are not finished so I hold my thoughts to my self it's just polishing suggestion. But I like the acting so far

I really like this sequence and where it's going - love your camera angles, camera moves, set design, acting choices - something to learn from for me. (imagine! me learning anything!) - makes me want to animate.

I don't have a problem with Krewel - but maybe for the first time we see Krewel (around frame 548?), if he was at a different place in the garden, or peering from a castle window ? - so that he had a different background, but could stay where he is now when behind Gloria - it might not disturb others...not sure - cause I see why you placed him where he is.

ANnnnnDDDDDDD - I love the new slick sleek FACE controls! on Gloria - very nice - was dicey there for awhile - but I see that's fixed - you must tell us what you did (another thread?). Love it. Unfortunately her eyelashes got un-combed?.

Here's the next version. I added a sceond to the end to give Krewl time to get from his observing position to his place behind Gloria.

Mark, your comments are always appreciated. If Martin hasn't assigned me another task by the time I get back from the Christmas holidays, I'll see if I can improve the animation a bit.

Thanks Nancy!
The face rig was tricky. Mark's rig is very good. I love it's usability, but it is very complex. When Martin asked if I would take over rigging duties when Mark moved over to Kat's project, I needed a rig that I could understand, provide support for ... and install. So I made this face rig. Then, since Gloria's body was already rigged, I had to figure out how to incorporate my face rig into her existing rig, which took a bit of trial and error. But I think it is working OK now. It relies heavily on CP weighting and, to a lesser degree, smartskin. It has fewer features, but it is more straightforward. I also created a new body rig which I rigged Bumpy Man with. Bumpy Man also has some refinements to the new face rig. I'll need to install both rigs on a couple more characters to work out any kinks, then I'll try to provide instructions on installing them.

Ok I like the additional time for krewl entrance with the different entrance so that possible problem is fixed but the new camera angle of 290 ->525 I feel is not doing justice to your work IHMO the girl grouching down and putting her hand on her heart looked good from the original angle. But from this angle the walking to him and grouching down is not ?? graceful as the original angle and I can not see the hand on heart gesture very well from this angle. IMHO I would change that back and keep the rest.

In or original post you said "Here's what I have so far." which I took as this being a 1st or 2nd pass and you had more to do. I do seem some areas were you might want to add some more mostly in the hand animation were they hold hands but It's a matter of when is enough enough I might add some hesitation in the gesture to show shyness and use fingers animation to help in this area. But that's up to you.

I like your work keep it coming!

OK I'm finally back from visiting the folks. Thanks for your comments Mark. I moved the camera to try to show off more of the set ... and because I thought Gloria's animation where she touches her heart and then reaches out to Pon needed more work than I wanted to spend on it smile.gif But if you like the original camera angle, and the hand-over-heart movement doesn't bother you, I'll move the camera back.

At the moment I'm trying to systematize the process of installing my rig. It's one thing to build a rig for a certain model, but another thing entirely to make it possible to install the rig into several diverse models quickly and efficiently. I have a lot of admiration for David Simmons and Mark Skodacek. There's a bunch of stuff they did to try to make their rigs easier for other people to install. I'm really glad I can look at their work for ideas and for inspiration. It isn't their fault that I couldn't manage to install their rigs correctly. I think my brain is just wired differently.

I changed the camera angle back to show Gloria's hand touching her heart. And I worked on her arm movement a little. I think I need another assignment. I've been working on this one forever it seems.

Nice Work, Holmes.

The visual flow follows the narration extremely well, but you probably knew that already.
