I finally "finished" (is anything ever really "finished"?) the set for the Jinx castle garden. It is located behind the castle. Now I can start my animation assignment smile.gif
A 5-pass render with the current ho-hum lighting takes about 10 minutes per frame.

Awesome Holmes, absolutely awesome!

Outstanding Holmes! A really beautiful setting.

Note to self: Where possible try to include multiplane effects to enhance the feeling of depth.
Flowers or a hint of trees in the foreground for instance. Your third image with the railings is a pretty good example of that!

To cut down on render time we may be able to composite the shot re-rendering different levels.

Assuming this is Gloria's garden perhaps some taller/more highly placed flowers so they get a chance to stand out? I'll try to hunt down some pics/examples.

Looks great Holmes. Alot better than anything I could've done.
