Getting an "Error Loading String -1" error when I try to set to "Scale in X-Axis only" from page 102 of the Art of AM.

The error does not appear if I have only one cp selected.

The error shows up when I used a bounding box and if the pointer is near the bounding box. When the pointer is directly over one of the bounding box's cp's then the error goes away.

Using ver. 15.0d

If you can document that with a simple PRJ and a screen capture, enter it as a bug report at hash.com/reports.

The "loading string error" means the program couldn't access some bit of text that it wanted to put on screen.

In my V13 it shows "Scale in X-axis only" when I hover the mouse over the red dot onthe bounding box so I presume that's what it was trying to do in your case.

Other than being an annoyance it shouldn't affect your model or the use of the scaling box.

Correction, page 108 of AOAM.

I got the task done but will post a screenshot.

Thanks

On mine you have to get your pointer right on the red dot in the middle of the side of the bounding box, for the text to come up.Click to view attachment
