Back after a bit of a break. Here's where the group first meet Pon. I was worried how it would turn out with all the exposition talk. But it flies by quite quick. Still rough though. It's 15mb and 43 sec.

It does go by quick. Nice job on the timing.

The only crit I can offer is the absence of any shoulder movement. They just look too stiff in the upper body, especially Pon.

very nice work Ken - really good start, flows well. Hard for me to offer suggestions when it's at this stage.

I am impressed by the voices as well, and how the sound tracks fit together- I think Trot's delivery (voice, acting) is especially well suited. Loved how she said "Jinxland!, we're going there now"

Looks good Ken!
Your poses seem to illustrate the dialog very well and closely, maybe even a little too literally.
Nice work with there eyes and facial expression. I like the personality you give to Trot.
Voice acting of Pon is very fast, it feels rushing to the end of the text. I forget the shoulders too, often,
but it does add a lot when when animated. Some floaty right arm with Trot in the beginning, but maybe
that's a correction to come. Camera cuts and framing work perfectly for me.

I raised them on some arm movements, but not all. Is that what you mean? To move them when the arm moves?

My favourite voice acting so far.

Yeah, there's so much talk that you sort of run out of ideas of what to do with the hands! biggrin.gif I guess the pointing of pon on the "Out" word is abit cliche, but that's the best I could think of at the time. The rest are good points and will be picked up later.

Thanks guys and gal.

How did Trot get the huge bags under her eyes? She looks older than Bill.

Geez - Trot's age has been finally ratted out. No more ingenue roles. Her career is ruined.

Time to slather back on the porcelain, & get those tummies tucked.

(Porcelain material was taken off so texturing could be done. Not sure if needs to be put back on, as shaded render is definitely not an accurate representation of the final rendered look)

Might I suggest that after frame 907 that you lack the head and chest/ shoulders on Poon raise up and maybe have him lower his right hand and maybe twist his body to make it look like he puts his hand down on ground or off camera to make it look like he is pushinh himself up?

But I must say this is REALLY GOOD!
KenH
Thanks. He's on his hunkers so his arms don't reach the ground, but I agree he could use abit of lagging.

Hmm, I don't see it, I guess it could use more then.

IMO, most upper arm movement should have some kind of shoulder movement as well.
