I get this problem every now and again. I usually just re-do the work. But there's alot in this one. I think it's to do with clicking on a new action under the character name when you have a bone in another action highlighted. The problem as you can see is the head control bone is now inside the hip null. All the keyframes are intact but they just don't do anything. Anyone know a solution? Maybe using a text editor? Cheers.

That's a bug I reported in V11 and it is fixed in V13.

Bones weirdly draggable in PWS Chor

I guess it's back? I f you make an AMReport you might reference that one and maybe it will give them a head start.

Only solution I can think of is to compare a before and after file in a text editor, see what moved and move it back.

you might find the

<OBJECTSHORTCUT>...

</OBJECTSHORTCUT>

block for the head within the

<OBJECTSHORTCUT>...

</OBJECTSHORTCUT>

block for the hips.

A text editor like UltraEdit can highlight diffs between two files.

Whoohoo! Thanks Robert. I was able to edit it in notepad since I knew what to look for. I guess I could make a report, but does it make a difference these days? (BTW I'm denied access to that report).

Stephen Gross is doing debugging now. something with previous history might get fast tracked?
