This was a relatively short scene with mostly walk/run cycles and Trot stopping in the middle to pick up some apples.

Very nice Holmes.

The characters are pretty small but... I like your animation of Trot stooping down and picking up apples a lot. Very smooth and natural movements throughout all the way to her passing the apple over to Cap'n Bill. Spot on.

Trots run doesn't look as smooth in comparison. More extreme I guess which is okay as she is trying to catch up?

I hope there might be a plan to have an overlay of apple tree leaves over much of this scene especially from frame 286 to the end (450). Something to help frame the scene?

There appears to be a nice place to place a bush or something for Trot to run behind between frame 286 and 404 as well. Perhaps some bush we could see her still moving behind but fully emerge from on or about frame 400? My view is that these two additions (leaves in the foreground and bushes in middle yet in front of the characters) will add considerable depth to the scene. I'll draw a pic if this doesn't make sense.

I know these suggestions aren't related to the animation and are probably already forthcoming... just adding my thoughts here as they come to me.

You've definitely conveyed the purpose of the sequence.

Looks pretty good. CB looks abit strange running. Maybe some close ups of them huffing and puffing will be put in later too.

Yeah, I might have to fix Bill's run action.
