Some #@&! jerk stole my bank card # and signed me up for some !@#$ adult website. I just spent the afternoon trying to unravel mysterious bank charges.

I hate internet fraud.

It makes me so angry.

It wasn't even an intriguing adult website.

Damn them!

Totally off-hand...this is my new work area in the new apartment...

These simple things make me happy.

Wow, that's clean.
I think that's the same German clock I have!

What the heck is that green thing on the left in your photo??

Why, a giant stuffed iguana, of course. smile.gif

Today is Dushan's birthday, so we have decked out the apartment in authentic 1950s style, and our double (my birthday is Tuesday) 1956 timewarp birthday bash is tonight.
Needless to say, no update of consequence this weekend. =)

I LIKE IKE

Wow. What a party! I'm not old until tomorrow, but I can say this was the best pre-birthday weekend yet. It's true, older IS better. I promise I'll post some mountain stuff ASAP.

So sorry, people, due some personal stuff this week was a total bust, animation-wise.
Everything is just now starting to settle, and various metaphorical limbs are being re-sewn onto the participants.
*sigh*
Life really happens sometimes.

(That's okay, I'll be working on the film all Sunday long.)

Wow, I finished the primary cleanup animation work just in time, school started back on monday, and I'm taking an online design class - wow - I am so overwhelmed with work right now! I feel like I'm drowning. Time to brush up on my layout skills.

Rendering is still going.
frosteternal
No updates lately, I've got a multi-layered scene that is rendering - for the last 4 days.
I'd be annoyed, but I kinda need the down -time for my Art History course =)

I am officially Sick. I hate feeling this way..so dumb...so achy...so weak...

I'm sure it was someone at Thanksgiving. It usually is family - I don't see them often, so I'm not used to their specially bred biological attacks.

Why is is that even though the electronic check I never wrote or authorized is under investigation for fraud - but I'm still responsible for the resultant $100 in overdraft fees?! Why does the bank think it is okay not to temporarily credit those fees until this is all sorted out - in "a few weeks?". Meanwhile, valid debit charges have bounced, and now more and more businesses are charging *me* fees for returned charges - and this is MY responsibility?!

And now I am super broke, afraid to deposit my pay check in my bank account for fear of never seeing it again...

I am sorry I am so mad I could scream - I just need to get all this crap off my chest.

Now even better we are being kicked out of our apartment due to construction!
Can you say "forked"?
Now change the diphthong. Grand. You get it now.

Just moved the computers to the new place, about 15 minutes ago. This is a good thing.

Welcome back Frosty! Hope your new apartment has AC... we always hear about 'people dying in Chicago' during the summer heat waves... not that it matters much RIGHT NOW (-10 degrees below zero Fahrenheit in Detroit.)

THAT puts me on a subject... we always heard that the 'metric system' is superior to the 'english' methods, with hype like 'it's all based on TEN' and stuff... and then they TRIED to switch us over in the 70's so the world could be united in it's measurements... but the U.S. was unable to make the switch, so we are still using terms like 'inches, miles, and Fahrenheit'...

When it comes to temperature...water freezes at 32f and zeroC... but I REALLY think the 'fahrenheit' method is a better way to go... and here's why: When the temp drops below freezing, like say 25 degrees Fahrenheit... there is still warmth to be measured in the air. You can feel it. But when we get down (like we are now) to the ZERO degrees Fahrenheit... there is literally NO warmth that can be measured in the air, and the further below zero is where the cold compounds itself into DANGEROUS proportions. Zero is zero, but the celsius method conceded to zero way back at 31 Fahrenheit. What's up with that??? Water doesn't even freeze at temps lower than freezing if it's moving, like a river.

I have absolutely NO scientific bones in my body... and I have two brothers who are scientist who always 'spout' info casually. I like to challenge them with my bizarre concept that the moon's core is made of ice---just to piss them off!

That said... I have a friend named Miles, and when we go over to Canada we all call him Kilometers...

If anyone is interested in my 'Ice Moon' concept...I'll be happy to share it!
