Just wondering if this is possible A:M in any way.

OK, your working on a Chor. action and you want to review just, say for example, just frames 10 through 30. I know you can grab the little pointer (<->) thingie and scrub it, as they say. But, is there some way to "SET" a temporary play range so you can see just a section play over & over for a while ? I know when doing Midi stuff, that you can set up "Cue" markers at various points in the time line and have it just repeat as many times as you like until any key is pressed.

I tried using the Crop tool in the chor action props and it kinda works as the action stops, but all the unwanted time frames still click away.

I even tried to set the play range slider. You know, the other one at the top/top and you can extend the chor play time ok but it would be cool if you could do it on the front end too. Like it would be highlighting just a certain section.

Anyway, If not, perhaps it could go on the new features request list ?

thanks

I know what you mean. I don't think there is. Video editing software have something similar where you can highlight a section of the timeline but I find that kind of annoying because when ever you click on the timeline it appears. Maybe something similar to markers where you have to right click the timeline to define them.

In fact, I just tested it and there are right click options already....if you put your mouse over the timeline numbers. One is to set the range to current zoom extents. That might serve your purpose?

Of course there is: Just go to the Timelinewindow and rightclick on the (time-) ruler there.
You can set the start and the end-point of the playrange there.

Now you can just hit play with repeat enabled and it will play over and over again.

Maybe I''m misunderstanding, but...

You can right click on the range bar (white bar with time increments in it, above the timeline or PWS) and set either the range start or the range end. Then set loop on and it will cycle through only those frames.

Ah.... Yes,Yes, I knew it had to be there somewhere...

I Forgot all about that.. exactly where it should be...

Thanks guys, for jogging my memory back.
