The world of Newton Physics.

The main objective I keep telling myself in having this forum is to keep Newton Dynamics from being one of those 'intimidating' features that a newbie or seasoned animator would avoid for fear of it being 'overly-complicated'.

The truth is- Newton Dynamics in Animation:Master is incredibly easy to use, and it gives you what I would consider 'free animation-with real world accuracy'. If you haven't given it a whirl, I highly recommend starting by simply 'dropping' objects in a scene and see what ideas that sparks.

I plan to make a 'comic-book style tutorial' that will illustrate the steps involved in doing such a simple and fun experiment, so look for that soon.

AND- As I brush-over the posts in this forum it occurs to me that I haven't truly 'tipped my hat' to the man behind the curtain of Newton Physics...Yoda himself, Stefan Gross. Stefan is a programmer/bug shooter for Hash Inc. and has written a TON of useful plug-ins for A:M, so have a look. http://www.sgross.com/plugins/ THANKS for all you have given us Yoda!!!

I'll be on vacation for a week or two so it will appear I have lost interest...not the case!

I have always wanted to try Yoda's Newton, but as close as Ive gotten is loading the pre simmed projects to see if it really works, they did work but looking at them work made me think , "this is way beyond my skill level to set up", So I do look forward to your vacations end (even if you dont) smile.....
