Looks great. The collar looks a bit odd as plaid and the bottom of the shirt needs something too, I think. His hair looks fantastic.

Ken - I played with the boots over and over with different colors, patterns, before posting and I eventually decided I didn't like them contrasted too much with the pants - I felt the style of the boots needed to be downplayed. They are kinda goofy...But maybe Pon is supposed to be goofy? clownish? In his current state he's probably somewhat appealing to Gloria. Right before posting I made his boots the same color as the pants, and then at the last moment decided to give them just a touch of contrast.

Mark- I agree the bottom of the shirt needs something too - I also played with that and didn't come up with something that I was happy with - I'm not liking the flaps - maybe I will add a fringe? but that would be hair and would probably cause anomalies - will think more about it.

As for the collar I tried a gazillion different patterns, styles, colors, contrast - and the plaid, for me added a nice surprise contrast - my only complaint about it - is that it looks too pristine - I would like to either make it look more frayed, ragged, or use some motif that is even more unexpected, or something that makes him more fantasy princely gardener.

This is Oz - so for any of the characters in Oz, in my opinion, I would like to add surprise elements - something that hasn't been seen yet - something that doesn't follow some fashion already known.

Lots of SO characters are human types, as contrasted with TWO...The best, maybe only place to add surprise would be in whimsical clothing and hair color.

To me, Pon is too expected looking. I can make him much much Much more unusual, more fantasy..The question is: Should I?

Maybe after doing some more of the other characters - I'll spice him up.

Nancy, not to impinge on your territory, but I think his waist line needs.....something. Here's my suggestion:

Still would like to do something else, like maybe a more threadbare, raggy look at the bottom - but for now, that works.
